THE AREA
Plettenberg Bay is peaceful and laid back. That doesn't mean the night life is boring. It's just that you're more likely to wake up to the sound of the ocean and bird song than rush hour traffic and police sirens. "Plett" - as South Africans simply call this exclusive seaside resort - boasts the most beautiful beaches of the Garden Route. They stretch over many kilometres all around the bay. The watersport possibilities are plentiful, and in season the bay is an excellent place to watch whales and dolphins. There are a number of fantastic local restaurants where you can soak up the ambiance, and introduce your taste buds to some new friends. Being a coastal town, the seafood is divine.

THE APARTMENTS
All units are hotel units with no kitchens and no private sleeping arrangements. They all have television, 2nd channel, mini fridge and shaver plug. There is a daily cleaning service in the mornings. All linen and towels are provided, except beach towels. A car is essential in South Africa. The open car parking facilities have 24 hour security. No pets are allowed at the resort.

DIRECTIONS
From George airport follow the N2 towards Knysna. Continue through Knysna on the N2 to Plettenberg Bay. Take the Piesangvallei turnoff to the right. Follow the road down to the traffic circle. Go around the circle and turn left at the T-junction. The resort is straight ahead of you.
